Mahakumbh 2025: The supernatural world of faith has started taking shape on the banks of Triveni in Sangam city Prayagraj. On the instructions of CM Yogi (CM Yogi Adityanath), due to the pace of preparations for Maha Kumbh, the Akhara area, the attraction of Maha Kumbh, has started buzzing first.
Last Saturday, three Sanyasi Akharas installed their religious flag in the land allotted by the administration in the Akhara area. The monks of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara and its brother Akhara, also known as Shri Panch Dashnam Avahan Akhara and Agni Akhara, invoked the deities of their respective Akharas with full rituals and hoisted their religious flag in the Mahakumbh area.
Religious flag established in Juna
According to Mahant Hari Giri, the international patron of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara, all the three Sanyasi Akharas are similar in their traditions, only the presiding deities are different. Therefore, the religious flags of all three Akharas have been established on the same date. In this special event of Akharas, mother power was also given full place and respect. The religious flag of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Sanyasini Akhara of women saints was also established in the Akhara area.
Mahamandaleshwar Divya Giri ji of the Akhara says that due to the initiative of Chief Minister Yogi, mother power is getting special respect. There was a time when Maiwada was built in the Akhara area for the women Sanyasini saints, but now for us a camp of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Sanyasini Akhara is being organized inside the Juna Akhara. This Akhara will give place only to mother power. The feeling of the divine and grand Kumbh became alive with the presence of the saints of the Akharas in the Akhara area.
Apart from the three Sanyasi Akharas in the Mahakumbh area, the religious flag of Kinnar, a follower of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara, was also established on Saturday. In the presence of Maha Mandaleshwar Kaushalyanand Giri of Kinnar Akhara and hundreds of members of his Akhara, Kinnar Akhara established the religious flag. The religious flag of the saints of Alakh sect of saints was also established in the Akhara area. After the installation of the religious flag, the Akhara area of Mahakumbh has slowly started buzzing.
